My Life Of Tragedy

Ok, so maybe it's not so tragic - but our family doctor (our doctor for years) denied our refills yesterday, as well as sending us a form letter telling us we need to find a new doctor. My dad thinks that this is due to the pharmacist at Granbury Drug throwing a fit. The last time I got my scripts refilled he really gave us a hard time, asking various impertinent questions about what I was taking the meds for, how much I was taking, blah, blah, blah - and being a pharmacist he had no right to question anything my doctor said. Legally he doesn't need to know and asking such questions is actually illegal (answering is my prerogative, but I am in no way obligated to answer him).
So... The short of the long is that regardless of why Dr. Moss decided to drop us (It's my opinion that she's simply cutting back on her client base. About a year ago she was in a very bad accident and even to this day can't keep up with her patients.), we are in Houston with no pain meds, no anixolytics - nothing that would help my dad's knee or my headache. My dad's on warfarin sodium (blood thinner) and can't take ibuprofen or naproxen sodium - and I've been taking Vicodin for so long that I'm in the habit of not taking acetaminophen...
At the moment I'm stoked to the gills on naproxen and ibuprofen... I can only hope I don't start bleeding out my nose by the evening, and that the OTC painkillers continue to function all weekend... If they _don't_, (and I don't have much of a positive outlook about that) then I'll be lucky if I'm still able to see by nightfall. And don't even get me started about my dad.

Anyhow. I want to go walk around and see if I can't relax some. I may write more later.
